• Bug fix? Repairs missing/invalid gallery metadata, migrated image/source links, case-sensitive Linux image paths, and UTF-8 portability in the newly merged sample's reference tests.
• New sample? No; Add Moonfield Archive collectible-card binder and free packs #198 was reviewed and merged separately.
• Related issues: no issue is automatically closed by this gallery publication PR.
• Needs API permissions? No additional Power Platform API permissions. Only the Pages deployment job receives Pages/OIDC write permissions.
• Has other prerequisites? Node.js 22.12+, GitHub Actions, and switching Pages from the legacy branch source to Actions after CI passes.

What's in this Pull Request?

Publish the Power Platform sample gallery with supplied product/platform logos, all five human portraits, StandardPath/GradientMesh artwork, light/dark themes, discovery filters, detail pages, contributor recognition, contribution guidance, and community/demo links.

• Represent all 75 current sample folders and 36 contributors without silently excluding incomplete metadata.
• Add read-only PR validation and a single GitHub Pages publisher with a daily legacy metadata refresh.
• Preserve the historical catalog, 116 legacy sample links, a compatible 191-record samples.json export, the original snapshot/cleanup report, and 12 old-navigation redirects.
• Explicitly report known non-sample artifacts in historical feeds instead of treating them as samples.
• Verify the deployed commit, catalogs, current sample routes, and primary preview images after publication.
• Replace the failing metadata branch-writer, retaining the historical Docs and gh-pages branches.
• Add the actual gallery promo PNG to root assets and update README/contribution/development guidance.
• Add legacy-repositories-assessment.md with recent activity, open contributions/issues, migration gaps, and archive prerequisites. No legacy repository archive settings are changed.
• Retain single-count sample-view tracking; localhost previews and automated browser checks do not send visitor events.

Validation evidence

• npm test in site: passed, 26 tests.
• npm run check / final npx astro check: passed, zero errors, warnings, or hints.
• npm run build:publication, followed by the final npx astro build after correcting redirect base paths: passed; 75 local samples, 116 legacy links, 191 compatible catalog records.
• npm run validate:links: passed; 95 HTML pages and 601 unique internal targets.
• npm run test:e2e: passed, 24 desktop/mobile tests, including both themes, accessibility, 320/375/768/1440 px overflow checks, legacy navigation, filtering/history, and tracking.
• python -B -m unittest discover -s tests -v in samples/collectible-card-binder: passed, 22 reference/source tests after explicit UTF-8 file decoding. These do not execute Power Fx or import a solution.
• npm run deployment:verify against the local production preview with expected revision local: passed; every current sample route and primary preview checked.
• Important community, source, and download destinations: HTTP 200 after redirects.
• Live GitHub deployment verification will run only after this PR passes CI and is merged to main.

Linux CI passed: tracker validation, gallery/publication unit tests, sample reference tests, Astro checks/build, generated link checks, and desktop/mobile browser/accessibility tests. Pages is now configured to use GitHub Actions; the approved main-branch deployment will verify its live commit, catalogs, sample pages, and previews.
