I design and build enterprise software, helping turn complex business requirements into clear, maintainable technical solutions.
I have 25+ years of professional software development experience, spanning software architecture, technical leadership, hands-on development, documentation, delivery, and customer-facing technical work.
I particularly enjoy the part of software engineering where architecture, implementation, and communication meet.
- Design software architectures, components, APIs, and integration solutions
- Turn business requirements into clear specifications and technical designs
- Lead development teams, define technical direction, and support implementation
- Stay hands-on in critical areas, from development and code review to troubleshooting and performance optimization
My strongest technical background is in enterprise Java development:
Java 21 · Spring 6 · Spring Boot 3 · SQL · JPA · Hibernate · Maven · REST · SOAP · OpenAPI · Git
I prefer technologies to be driven by the problem rather than the other way around: architecture and design decisions should have a reason behind them.
A significant part of my enterprise software work has been related to document management and electronic signatures, including:
- ETSI AdES signature formats
- electronic signatures and timestamps
- PKI-related concepts
- the EU Digital Signature Services (DSS) library
- the technical context surrounding eIDAS
My focus in this field is primarily on software architecture and technical implementation.
Alongside enterprise software, I also design and develop small games as personal and commercial side projects.
I primarily use HTML5, JavaScript, Canvas, and three.js, targeting desktop and mobile browsers as well as Android and iOS through Apache Cordova.
Game development gives me a different kind of engineering challenge, combining programming with interaction design, visuals, audio, and performance.
I care a lot about clarity.
One of my strongest skills is explaining complex subjects in a way that makes sense to the audience — whether discussing requirements with business stakeholders, explaining an architecture to developers, or writing technical documentation.
For me, good software engineering is not only about writing correct code. It is also about making good decisions, communicating them clearly, and building systems that other people can understand and maintain.
My creative interests include:
- video production, editing, sound design, and color grading
- game and audiovisual design
I tend to gravitate toward things that combine technology, creativity, and design — especially when they result in something that did not exist before.
This GitHub profile is the public home of my open-source work and selected personal projects.
In the projects I publish here, I aim to show not only what the code does, but also how and why the system is designed the way it is — through readable code, clear architecture, meaningful documentation, and deliberate technical decisions.
