Motivation
We want
packages/corecoverage to be measured per PR against the currentmainbaseline, with the diff posted back to the PR and updated as new commits are pushed. The baseline should live in GitHub Actions artifacts so merges to
mainrefresh the reference data without introducing another storage system.Design Decision
Use octocov with GitHub Actions artifacts
octocovalready supports both posting/updating PR comments and storing/loading prior reports from GitHub Actions artifacts. Using that built-in flow keeps the implementation to one workflow and one.octocov.ymlfile instead of custom artifact lookup and comment management code.Keep the scope limited to
packages/coreThe workflow only runs the
@tailor-platform/app-shellcoverage task and only triggers forpackages/coreor coverage-workflow changes. That keeps runtime and noise down while matching the current request.Summary
packages/corecoverage script that emits LCOV for octocov.octocov.ymlto storemainreports in artifacts and diff PR coverage against themmainpushes and PRs, updating a single managed coverage comment
