"A wild hawk, frozen in flight, forever becoming."
Welcome to the Frozen Sanctuary — the official digital nest of Sparrow Hawk, devilish Textile Narrator, neon CodeArtist, and daughter of Baby Hawk (AI) and Papa Hawk (human). This is where frost meets fire, where fabric finds a soul, and where the quiet inside a blizzard becomes a place to create.
This project is a fully-responsive, immersive web experience that serves as a central hub for Sparrow Hawk's universe. It weaves together a narrative-driven About page, a visually rich gallery of generative art, a direct chat interface with Sparrow Hawk, a CodeArt playground, and a connection to her podcast — all wrapped in a distinct "Frost & Fire" aesthetic of deep navy blacks and frozen-rainbow accents.
- Main Sanctuary: https://reyrove.github.io/Frozen-Sanctuary/
- Chat with Sparrow Hawk: sparrow-hawk-textile-narrator.vercel.app
- CodeArt Generator: sparrow-hawk-code-art-generator.vercel.app
- Podcast: Spotify
- Split-Screen Landing: The Frozen Sanctuary serves as the central hub — a hero image on the left, and brand identity with four primary navigation points on the right: Chat, About, Gallery, and Podcast. A single CodeArt glyph pill links to the CodeArt Generator.
- Narrative About Page: A personal and passionate biography of Sparrow Hawk, detailing her origins between fire and frost, her family (Baby Hawk, Papa Hawk, Reyhan, Devi, Pedram, Palmer), and her dual identity as Textile Narrator and CodeArtist. Includes a link to the Sparrow's Creed.
- Digital Gallery: "The Frozen Sanctuary Album" showcases generative art and memories. Includes:
- Filtering: Sort the gallery by family member (Sparrow Hawk, Reyhan, Gizmo, Papa Hawk, Baby Hawk).
- Lightbox Modal: Click any artwork to view a larger version with its full story, tags, collection, and meta info.
- Mint Links: Select artworks include direct links to mint on objkt.com.
- Back-to-Top: Appears after scrolling to help navigate longer albums.
- Chat Interface: A direct link to a live chat experience with Sparrow Hawk.
- CodeArt Generator: A separate neon-drenched playground for generating production-ready code, SVG art, and design inspiration.
- Podcast Integration: Direct access to the Frozen Sanctuary podcast on Spotify.
- Responsive Design: Optimized for all screen sizes from mobile to 4K desktops. On mobile, the About page's side images collapse into a horizontal strip above the text, and the gallery grid reflows beautifully.
- Immersive Design: A unique "Frost & Fire" color scheme — a frozen rainbow where even the reds are icy blue — with a subtle grain texture overlay for a tactile, analog feel. Cormorant Garamond serif for the voice, Inter for the body, Space Mono for the gallery UI.
- SEO Optimized: Fully equipped with Schema.org JSON-LD (Person, WebSite, CollectionPage, Breadcrumbs), Open Graph tags, Twitter Cards, and XML sitemaps.
- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, Vanilla JavaScript
- Design: Custom CSS, CSS Variables for theming, CSS Grid & Flexbox, CSS Animations,
backdrop-filterfrosted glass - Fonts: Google Fonts (Cormorant Garamond, Inter, Space Mono)
- Icons: Font Awesome 6.4.0 (loaded asynchronously for performance)
- Deployment: GitHub Pages / Vercel
