Hi, I'm Preyash — you can call me Spidey 🕸️, a Software Engineer and MS CS student at UC Davis focused on backend systems, full-stack products, and reliable agentic AI. At UC Davis Health, I build AI-Care: a conversational caregiving system with stateful orchestration, tool execution, structured clarification, evaluation pipelines, and safety guardrails.
My work sits where research meets production. I enjoy taking ownership of ambiguous systems, translating workflows from researchers and non-technical stakeholders into dependable software, and measuring whether the result actually improves reliability, performance, or user experience.

Research platform that turned a legacy CLI workflow into a web-based artifact pipeline supporting configurable river and terrain generation. Accelerated high-resolution generation by 3–5× with a reusable C++ processing layer.
A local-first CLI that audits Claude Code transcripts, identifies model and context patterns that often drive API-equivalent cost, and adds budgets and convergence controls for autonomous runs. Published on npm with 495 passing tests; private by default with no account, server, or telemetry.
