Drop Python 3.11 Testing #499
Description
Activity
Just as a heads up on this, Tutor main supports 3.9 - 3.12 so any Tutor plugins that we run into for this issue should probably still hold onto their older versions (and honestly should probably test against all supported Tutor versions). We've run into issues where Tutor supported a version that a plugin did not and it caused confusion.

on Apr 7, 2026 For future reference, getting the original PRs out the door took about 8hs with Claude, I probably spent another 24hrs over the course of the month to rebase, fix bugs and otherwise check-in on the PRs. The rest of the time was just getting folks to review and land the changes in a timely manner. About a month from start to finish.

I'm planning to do another pass of dropping Django 4.2 from the repositoris where it still exists soon. We can look for improvements in our review process at that time.

#274 Added python 3.12 support to all our python repos. We're now ready to drop support for Python 3.11.
All repos should update their github workflows, tox settings, docs, and re-build their requirements file with python 3.12.
