What

Adds aws-cepheus, Rigetti's Cepheus-1-108Q through Amazon Braket (us-west-1), to examples/qfw_shim_device_access.yaml beside the SV1 entry, so the shim smoke and the Qiskit examples can bind it with --device-id aws-cepheus.

The entry carries what a billed device needs: max-shots: 1024, refused above before a task exists, and job-timeout-seconds: 1800, how long a queued task is waited for before it is cancelled. The results bucket is a site's own (Braket wants it in the device's Region, and AmazonBraketFullAccess covers amazon-braket-* names), so s3-results-uri is shown commented out, not set.

Also

  • The example-config test checks the new entry and that both Braket entries select by device id, since two aws devices make the provider alone ambiguous.
  • The smoke script's help text names the device.

Verified

The example device-access config had one Braket entry, the SV1
simulator. The first real Braket QPU QFw ran on, Rigetti's
Cepheus-1-108Q, now has one too, so the shim smoke and the Qiskit
examples can bind it with --device-id aws-cepheus.

The entry carries what a billed device needs and the simulator did
not: max-shots, which the profile refuses above before a task exists,
and job-timeout-seconds, how long a queued task is waited for before it
is cancelled. The results bucket is a site's own (Braket wants it in
the device's Region, and AmazonBraketFullAccess covers amazon-braket-*
names), so s3-results-uri is shown commented out rather than set.

The example-config test checks the new entry and that both Braket
entries select by device id, since two aws devices make the provider
alone ambiguous. The smoke script's help names the device.

Verified on the device through the installed copy of this entry: the
shim smoke's X and asymmetric circuits and the Qiskit GHZ example all
complete on Cepheus (#149 has the counts). tests/mock 631
passed and 1 skipped, ci-syntax clean.
