The same as #1313, but I want to make a lot of noise in CI by pushing the fixes and trying to debug the bug, which is reproducible only in CI, Python 3.12, full-auth (not locally; all other full-auth are fine; all other 3.12 are fine, too).
UPD: Conclusion: any combination of tests 1+2, 2+3, 1+3 passes. All three tests 1+2+3 break the test run in 100% cases. Hilarious! And an attempt to measure the timings on the failing test's internals immediately makes it pass.
UPD2:
Whatever was the actual case, it is now gone (1 day later). The issue does not reproduce itself anymore, even with the same state of the feature branch & main branch restored. Perhaps, any upgrade in dependencies was sufficient to shift the gc earlier/later in the code.Ah, no, it is there. It was the
import gcstatement that accidentially left unremoved, which affected the experiment and passed the tests.
