Why

mrscraper-com/mrscraper-mcp#22 moves the manual-scraper compliance warning out of the server's instructions to Claude and into the rerun tool. With that change, a manual rerun runs only with acknowledged: true; without it, the tool returns the warning and doesn't call the API. This skill already shows the warning before the first manual rerun. It now also passes acknowledged=true once the user accepts, so users don't see the warning twice.

What

  • skills/mrscraper/SKILL.md: after the user accepts the warning, pass acknowledged=true on every manual rerun in that conversation. Added a manual rerun example that includes it.
  • Version 0.1.4: plugin.json bumped and a CHANGELOG.md entry added.
  • PUBLISHING.md, separate commit: the submission steps now use Anthropic's developer portal (claude.ai/directory/manage). The Console form it pointed to is no longer supported.

Compatibility

This is safe to merge before or after #22. The currently deployed server drops unknown input keys: a live rerun call with acknowledged: true passed input validation and reached the API, which returned 404 for the made-up scraper ID I used.

Verification

  • claude plugin validate . --strict and claude plugin validate plugins/mrscraper --strict both pass.

After merge

Create the v0.1.4 tag and GitHub release, per PUBLISHING.md.

Pass acknowledged=true on manual reruns after the user accepts the compliance warning, which the MrScraper MCP server now requires.
