Moonitor now opens a native compute observatory with a resource-first Overview, compact live Lab Map, Fleet inventory, workload residency, measured GPU power, source diagnostics and node detail tabs. The existing Iced/wgpu migration is checkpointed separately from main; collectors, SSH and SQLite remain in place.
The W0 foundation removes fixed device arrays, shares availability/selection/metric semantics, distinguishes zero from missing or stale readings, accounts for ingestion drops, and separates private fleet configuration from the macOS bundle. W1 adds deterministic chart inspection, native navigation, light/dark layouts and the owner-supplied moon artwork for the app and README.
Validation: 18 Rust workspace tests; formatting/check/clippy; 60 view/viewport/theme combinations on macOS and Linux plus metric pixel, picking, filtering, keyboard, empty-state and list tests. Native macOS interaction review and signed bundle receipts are recorded locally. Five paired inference trials on both Exon and Spark are documented in the W0 report. A 30-second final Overview measurement was 1.61% of one logical core / 138.94 MiB RSS; list mode was 1.65% / 134.84 MiB. These short samples do not establish a general performance guarantee.
Design reference, actual-code audit, W0–W4 gates, W1 screen contracts and qualification reports are under docs/. Human visual approval, assistive accessibility, GPU-free startup and long-duration qualification remain open. Request-level AI telemetry, normalized historical events and energy integration remain later milestones.
No private .local configuration or QA captures are included. Baseline tag: baseline/egui-2026-10-22. This PR remains a draft for review of the new native interface.
