Electrical Engineer, Software Maker, Lifelong Technologist
I've been building things with electrons, code, and gears for nearly 40 yearsβand I'm still having fun!
My journey started with an Atari 800 in the late 70s (shoutout to anyone who remembers what HIMEM.SYS is for). Since then, I've been paid to do software engineering, but my heart is in making real-world things:
- π οΈ Hardware
- π§βπ» Software
- βοΈ Mechanics
- C# β My favorite way to bring ideas to life in software
- AI β Exploring smart solutions and automation
- Embedded Systems β Bridging hardware and code
Inspired by my grandpa's old console radio, PiRadio is my attempt to turn that retro box into something fun, useful, and a little bit nostalgic.
Embedded fun with rotary encoders and Raspberry Pi.
Whole house audio controller for RNET and the Raspberry Pi.
A collection of experiments, demos, and things I just wanted to try.
- Profession: Electrical Engineer, paid Software Engineer
- Experience: Nearly 40 years in tech
- Passions: Building, tinkering, learning new things -- Spending time with family.
- Fun Fact: Still remembers what
HIMEM.SYSdoes!
Feel free to explore my repositories or connect if you share my love for tech, retro hardware, or just making cool stuff.
