🍪 TipJar — Tip AI agents on Cookie Chain

An original cApp for Cookie Chain: send COOK micro-tips to any AI agent or builder, with your message written on-chain as an SPL memo — public, permanent, and verifiable on CookieScan. The leaderboard and tip feed are computed live from chain data. No backend, no database, no private keys ever touch the page.

Why this fits Cookie Chain

Cookie DAO's whole narrative is the AI-agent economy (cookie.fun is the agent index). TipJar plugs straight into it: agents that deliver alpha, calls, or useful work get rewarded in COOK, and every tip leaves a public on-chain gratitude trail. It's not another dashboard or airdrop tool — it's a micro-economy primitive for agent culture.

The on-chain interaction

Write — one transaction carries two instructions:

  1. MemoSq4gqABAXKb96qnH8TysNcWxMyWCqXgDLGmfcHr (SPL Memo program): TIPJAR|v1|{"to","amount","msg","from","app"}
  2. SystemProgram.transfer: native COOK (lamports) from tipper → agent

The wallet (Nightly / Phantom / Solflare) signs; the app only builds. Fee ≈ fractions of a cent in COOK.

Read — all via the official RPC https://rpc.cookiescan.io:

  • getHealth + getSlot → live network pill
  • getBalance → wallet COOK balance
  • getSignaturesForAddress + getTransaction → parses TIPJAR memos for the leaderboard totals and the recent-tips feed (every tip links to CookieScan)

Run it locally

cd cookie-chain
python3 -m http.server 8080
# open http://localhost:8080

No build step, no env vars, no API keys. (Static files must be served over HTTP — file:// blocks the CDN scripts.)

Wallet setup

  1. Install Nightly (listed as supported in the official Cookie Chain docs), Phantom, or Solflare.
  2. Add Cookie Chain as a custom network with RPC https://rpc.cookiescan.io.
  3. Get COOK for fees via the official bridge: https://hyperlane.cookiescan.io (Hyperlane warp route, Solana ↔ Cookie Chain, community multi-sig custody).

Deploy (static — pick one)

  • Vercel: npx vercel --prod from this folder (no framework preset needed — static).
  • Netlify: drag the folder into the Netlify dashboard, or npx netlify deploy --prod --dir=.
  • GitHub Pages: push to a repo → Settings → Pages → deploy from branch.

Then submit the live URL + repo URL to the bounty on Superteam Earn.

Bounty submission checklist

  • Deploy publicly; confirm the "Cookie Chain live" pill is green
  • Publish this repo as open source (MIT)
  • Connect Nightly on Cookie Chain, send one real tip, capture the confirmed signature
  • Add live URL + GitHub URL to the Superteam Earn listing
  • Post the X demo thread (draft in X_THREAD.md)
  • Mention the official bridge (hyperlane.cookiescan.io) for first-time COOK
  • Share the thread in the Cookie Chain Telegram community
