• The Pi Pico section should clearly show which Pico pins connect to each SPI chip pin instead of having the end user rely on multiple graphs.

• Libreboot’s serprog firmware might be easier/faster to install, but not certain of potential drawbacks for heads.

• Generic SOIC clips work fine, but the guide should explain that:

  • You need a multimeter in continuity mode to identify which clip wire connects to which pin.
  • You’ll likely need an adapter board because the clip pins are too close for direct f-f jumper wires if you plan on buying the clip by itself.
  • Adapter boards can jumble the pin order, so you have to map them yourself (using the multimeter). The table below shows the adapter board layout and which pins should be mapped and which can be deduced. (dd=deduced)
