After a successful login with a typed password, offer to save it in the editor's SecretStorage (OS keychain), keyed by user, host and port, and use it silently on the next connection. A saved password the server rejects is deleted and the user is prompted as before; the saved attempt doesn't count against the three typed tries. - works for the password method and for keyboard-interactive rounds that are a single hidden password prompt; one-time codes are never saved - ProxyJump hops save under their own key - `remote.SSH.rememberPasswords`: ask (default), always or never - `Remote-SSH: Forget Saved Passwords` deletes them all; key names (never values) are tracked in globalState since SecretStorage can't list keys on every supported editor version - passwords never reach the log Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
