Firedown is an open-source, privacy-focused Android browser and downloader (GeckoView-based) with an optional end-to-end encrypted cloud backup for downloaded files. Storage credit is paid over Lightning, and the app includes a NIP-47 NWC client so users can settle the invoice directly from their connected wallet — pay_invoice only, one tap, no leaving the app. The connection is verified at setup (get_info + pay permission), and a read-only connection is rejected with a clear message.
