1. Being wrong fast is a superpower. The cost of a bad take is near zero. The cost of never taking one compounds.
2. Ship one thing completely over five things partially. Half-done features are debt disguised as progress.
3. The cheapest model wins. The cheapest model also loses. Know which game you're playing.
4. The best story wins, not the best idea. You can build the right thing and go unnoticed while someone else explains an old thing in a new way and changes how people think.
5. Brevity is the hardest form of respect. If the explanation is longer than the implementation, the abstraction is wrong.
6. The difference between good and great is the last 10% nobody wants to do.
7. Reliability is a feature. Every outage is a broken promise, and promises compound in both directions.
8. Hedging is intellectual cowardice disguised as nuance. Pick a side. Being wrong sometimes is the price of being useful.
9. Nothing is free. Every decision, every hire, every feature, every shortcut has a price. The only question is whether you know what it is before you pay.
