Pressing Escape and Clicking X on a running background task should cancel the foreground task #330
When you click the little x on a Running Background Task, it should be cancelled. There's no other way to cancel without exiting the entire flow using Escape currently, but in the CLI pressing Escape only cancels the foreground task.
As well, if you press Escape while a foreground task is running, instead of halting the session, it should first exit the foreground task.
What would it help you do?
Would bring parity closer to the CLI. By allowing you to halt a foreground task without having to send a continue or resume after pressing Escape.
