I'm a Computational Geographer designing and building geospatial machine-learning (ML) systems for real-world Earth Observation applications. My work sits at the intersection of Earth Observation, reproducible ML workflows, and interoperable data infrastructures.
I've recently submitted my PhD in Geoinformatics at the Institute for Geoinformatics (IFGI), University of Münster, and am now awaiting my viva. My cumulative dissertation, supervised by Prof. Edzer Pebesma in the Spatio-Temporal Modelling Lab, titled reproducible and interoperable Machine Learning for Earth Observation data cubes.
I'm also a partner researcher on GeoAI4EI, an EU Horizon Europe project, where I work on integrating geospatial foundation model embeddings into disease surveillance and epidemiological risk-modeling pipelines.
