1. Executive Summary

LiberProtocol is a decentralized social network built on blockchain technology, designed to empower users with full ownership of their digital identity and content. By leveraging NFT domains (e.g., .eth, .crypto), decentralized storage (IPFS, Arweave), and community governance (DAO), LiberProtocol aims to redefine social media as a user-owned, censorship-resistant ecosystem.

Key Innovations:

  • Self-sovereign identity via NFT domains.
  • Content permanence through decentralized storage.
  • Tokenized governance ($LIBER token).
  • Interoperability with Web3 applications.

2. Problem Statement

Centralized Social Media Challenges:

  • Data Ownership: Platforms monetize user data without sharing profits.
  • Censorship: Content removal based on opaque policies.
  • Fragmentation: Profiles and followers are locked to specific platforms.
  • Security Risks: Centralized servers are prone to breaches.

3. Solution Overview

LiberProtocol addresses these challenges through:

  • NFT-Based Identity: Users own their profiles as transferable NFT domains.
  • Decentralized Storage: Content is stored on IPFS/Arweave, ensuring immutability.
  • DAO Governance: Community-driven moderation and platform upgrades.
  • Web3 Integration: Direct interaction with wallets, NFTs, and dApps.

Structure Explanation
contracts/:

Contains Solidity smart contracts.

Example: LiberProfile.sol (NFT domain minting) and LiberDAO.sol (governance).

frontend/:

React-based user interface.

Wallet integration (e.g., MetaMask) via ethers.js.

scripts/:

Scripts for deploying contracts to testnets/mainnets.

tests/:

Automated tests for contracts (using Hardhat + Chai).

docs/:

Technical documentation and contributor guidelines.

.github/:

CI/CD configurations and issue/pull request templates.

How to Create the Structure
Run these commands in the terminal:
# Create main directories
mkdir -p LiberProtocol/{contracts,frontend/src/{components,lib},scripts,tests,docs,.github/workflows}

# Create essential files
touch LiberProtocol/contracts/LiberProfile.sol
touch LiberProtocol/frontend/src/App.jsx
touch LiberProtocol/README.md
touch LiberProtocol/.gitignore

Example .gitignore Content
# Dependencies
node_modules/

# Keys and environment variables
.env
*.pem

# Logs and temporary files
*.log
.DS_Store

# Build artifacts
dist/
build/
artifacts/
cache/

Best Practices
Security:

Never commit sensitive files (e.g., .env, private keys).

Documentation:

Keep README.md updated with clear setup and usage instructions.

Versioning:

Use semantic tags (e.g., v1.0.0) for releases.

Next Steps
Add the provided code to their respective files.

Make the first commit:
cd LiberProtocol
git init
git add .
git commit -m "Initial commit: Project structure"

Link to the GitHub remote repository:
git remote add origin https://github.com/Otaviano111979/LiberProtocol.git
git push -u origin main

This structure is scalable and ready to evolve with new features (e.g., IPFS integration, DAO governance).
