[Backport 8.x] bump version task: Fail if bump failed - #637

We call this task in the 'prepare release' workflow. If the bump failed, for whatever reasons, we want to fail the whole pipeline. Otherwise the might create a release PR, but with the wrong version. Signed-off-by: Tim Meusel <tim@bastelfreak.de> (cherry picked from commit 7e19c18)
