🛠️ Getting Started

Follow these steps to set up the project locally:

1. Clone the Repository
   Clone the repository to your local machine:

git clone https://github.com/yourusername/treatwell-next.git

2. Navigate to the Project Directory
   Move into the project directory:

cd treatwell-next

3. Install Dependencies
   Install the required dependencies:

npm install

4. Set Up Environment Variables Create a .env.local file in the root directory and add the following variables:

5. Set Up Email for Notifications (Optional) Follow the instructions in EMAIL_SETUP.md to configure email delivery for OTP and meeting links.

6. Run the Development Server
   Start the application:

npm run dev

7. Access the Application Open your browser and navigate to http://localhost:3000 to access TreatWell Next.

📝 Additional Setup Notes

• MongoDB Setup: Ensure your MongoDB instance is running and accessible
• Email Configuration: Set up Gmail app passwords for email functionality
• File Uploads: The public/uploads/ directory is used for profile pictures
• BMDC Seeding: Use the /api/seed-bmdc endpoint to populate doctor verification data
