Is this just a fork of the original autoheal app that is now unmaintained? And is this just a personal project where you're customizing the app for your own needs, or are you looking to take over the development of the original auto-heal and maintain it?

Just wondering before I get invested in it.

And I guess the other question, do you have plans to integrate support for discord webhooks into the standard webhook ENV var, or should we just utilize apprise.

First, thank you for starting a discussion vs opening an issue - very much appreciated.

This project is indeed inspired by the willfarrell version, however, it performs differently and is written completely in rust for performance and scalability.

I have no plans to integrate support specific to discord, but it could be considered if there is enough interest. Feel free to open a poll to assess interest. Or, better, feel free to fork, develop the integration, and create a pull request - rust is fun!

Sure thing, I'd much rather more repos enable discussions instead of opening issues for trivial stuff.

Thanks for the information, it's not vital for discord integration, but I figured that's what the original developer meant when providing the webhook env var, but I found out otherwise.

I haven't played with apprise yet, only heard of it. So I'm going to install a copy and see what it can do. If apprise can provide the discord webhook functionality, then I can go that route. I have 71 docker containers, what's one more. And it if serves additional purposes, even better.

As far as a PR; sadly, Rust is one of the languages I have zero experience in, and I don't like providing PRs unless I am efficient at the language and can provide an optimized solution. Otherwise it just creates more work for you. I'd say Rust and languages like Asp / Perl are my least knowledgeable. If it were Go or Python, simple enough. Who knows, I may try Rust one day and see where it gets me.
