Summary

Marex renders the current day’s tide conditions for Cabedelo, Brazil on Tidbyt using the public Tabua Mare API.

  • Shows today’s low and high tide times with tide heights
  • Interpolates the current tide level from the surrounding data points
  • Displays a vertical current-time marker on the tide curve so rising/falling trend is visible
  • Includes a compact animated header rotating between station/date and current tide height
  • Uses a blinking dot to identify the next upcoming low/high tide event
  • No API keys or user credentials required

Test Plan

  • pixlet render marex.star passes
  • pixlet check marex.star passes
  • pixlet format marex.star and pixlet lint --fix marex.star clean
  • Tested locally in the Pixlet browser emulator at 64x32
  • Verified public API response parsing for pb01 current-day tide data
