👋 Hey, I'm suva (@thepathless) — the person behind Omadock, a fluid, zero-CPU application dock for [Omarchy (https://omarchy.org) Linux (Quickshell + Hyprland). Read my story →

💻 I've been obsessed with computers and programming my whole life, but never pursued it professionally. I'm a medical student in India, and Omadock is what I build between classes and clinics (yes, heavily vibe-coded with AI pair-programming tools ✨).

But this costs money I don't quite have: AI tokens every month, plus my coding-agent subscription. I built Omadock on Google Antigravity through Jio's free Gemini Pro offer, but the rate limits got painfully bad, so now it's Freebuff Starter — ₹499 to start (borrowed from my mom 😅), rising to ₹799/month, which I honestly can't keep affording. And my laptop is a ThinkPad L14 Gen 2 with a Realtek RTL8821AE WiFi card — constant drops, flaky Bluetooth, sticky keys and a trackpad with a mind of its own. Worst possible laptop for Linux.

💻 So I'm saving up for a Dell XPS 13 (2026) — the same XPS line DHH (Omarchy's creator) calls "the year of the Linux laptop".

To anyone who donates: really, truly, thank you — you're helping a med student keep building. 🙏
