Regarding CPM A15 #231
|
Hi, I noticed that the latest CoreELEC-NG release is 21.3. No rush at all — just curious about the roadmap. Thanks for your work. |

Thanks. I did pull in the NG 21.3 on top of lots of other work I did including HDMI PCM Audio correctness and HEVC DV FEL Synchronisation. If I do do another release it would be very likely focused on HEVC only with lossless audio, i.e. very specialist and not for everyone, not an "everything" version. I managed as I say to finally make a (fool-proof) way we can have the HEVC DV FEL correctly in sync, but AVC has eluded me, the 4.9 Kernel and drivers look just too broken to fix for that (in parts I cannot change), it can be somewhat worked around with fabricating timing and using offsets but not fool-proof and prefer to use say Infuse Pro for that. For a more complete experience that you can get now - you can check out @avdvplus releases, they were grounded in A14 and include some additional work I did along with some great other additions all on an enhanced NG 21.3 - and probably will get some more improvements from my repo overtime. |
Thanks.
