did you also test this on a normal nightly build? There were some buffering related changes in the base CE code some days ago, so it might be due to that and not a cpm-specific issue. |

Yes. Same issue.

then I would suggest reporting it to the CE team via the official forum as it's not related to cpm's build (with logs, video samples, etc) |

@anderse77 btw, also pls mention there if the file was played via network or local/USB storage. |

I use NFS share in my nas too. In the last modification what CE team has provided about the dinamic buffers, the system seems very well load. |
|
btw, if I'm not mistaken this new buffer experiment might have been removed in the current code/nightlies. At least I don't seem to see those commits anymore (they were one of the last ones). But will have to check again, maybe they have reorganized the code the they are moved now somewhere lower or via patch... |
I hope they just missed, cos its works perfectly for me.. |

Bug report
Describe the bug
Here is a clear and concise description of what the problem is:
24hz movies (3840x2160 24.00hz, dolby vision p7 FEL) stops due to buffering often. Looking at the playerprocesswindow this seems to be due to the cache being emptied faster than it refills. This does not happen with 23.98hz movies (3840x2160 23.98hz, dolby vision p7 FEL)I have adaptive readfactor in settings, 192mb memorysize and a cachechunk of 1 mb.
Expected Behavior
Here is a clear and concise description of what was expected to happen:
The 24hz movies (3840x2160 24.00hz, dolby vision p7 FEL) should play smoothly without ever stopping for buffering.
Actual Behavior
24hz movies (3840x2160 24.00hz, dolby vision p7 FEL) stops due to buffering often.
