Hi,
Code for IBM i v3 introduced big changes, one of them being the introduction of Mapepire as the DB access layer.
Downgrading to v2 works because of that.
According to your logs, it seems that your problem may be the same as in #3243: the JTOpen library on your system may be outdated.
You can confirm this running this command in a shell session:
You can also try to start Mapepire in server mode, to see the whole error output - again, from a shell:
