No Menu buttons

On my Nexus 7 2013 Wifi (flo) with Lineageos 18.1 i have no menu buttons on the bottom.
So no startpage, repo, module, settings.

I use Magisk 36 for root.

On my Xperis XZ2 with LineageOS 22.2 and Magisk 36 I see my bottom menu.

If you open it in a floating window and resize the window to be very narrow, the buttons will appear

I had this issue when my phone went into tablet mode UI. You can prevent that by setting "Smallest width" in the "Drawing" section of developer settings to <600. Make sure it actually saves that, in my case I had to go down to 597 to prevent it from automatically switching to 600. Now the buttons at the bottom appear without floating window.
