Steps:

Add a Media Directory.

Add a Playlist Directory.

Open a playlist in the Editor.

Run "Repair Selected Entry" > "Select Closest matches" and click "OK" to save the matching tracks.

Go to and start the Windows file manager.

Locate the media directory in Windows file manager, i.e. the music database that was added to listFix() in Step 1.

Select and edit the names or paths of any number of music files that are also present in the current Playlist in the Editor.

Go back to the Playlist that is still open in the Editor.

Locate the tracks that are now unmatched after having edited their corresponding files in the Media Directory

Go to the listFix() Media Directory pane.

Select, click the "Refresh" button.

Select and run "Select Closest Matches" on the unmatched files again.

Result: despite having just refreshed the Media Directory (Step 11), Step 12 fails to find the matching tracks.

Note: the following workaround offers relief: "Remove" the appropriate Media Directory from the "Media Directories" pane, and then "Add" it back again.
